Recreation Ground

RECREATION GROUND – Queen’s Road, Ash
The Recreation Ground is held in trust by the Parish and is managed by the Parish Council. Covering about 10 acres with some fine, mature trees. 
There are play areas for all ages, with the new wheelchair accessibility paths and equipment including swings, a roundabout and climbing frames and aerial zip wire. There is an Outdoor Gym.  There are tennis courts, playing fields and the Sports Pavilion, that are rented from the Ash Parish Council and managed by separate committees and clubs.
The public toilets are generally open daily between 7.30am and 8pm.
The Ground is closed to vehicle access during the winter months to protect the trees and areas of grass.

The Parish allotments are situated near the tennis courts on the Ash Recreation Ground and are owned and managed by the Parish Council. Residents  may apply for an allotment by contacting the Clerk to the Parish Council. You will need to give your permission for the council to hold your contact details.  Please include your home address and your contact number when you apply to go on the waiting list. Waiting times depend upon when an existing allotment holder vacates their plot and  you are offered a plot in the order that you go onto the waiting list. There is an annual charge depending upon the size of your plot.  Please contact the Parish Clerk to join the waiting list.
