Community Safety Public Meeting – Your Chance to Be Heard

Ash Parish Council has arranged a joint meeting with Kent Police and Dover District Council’s Community Safety Team for residents to come together, share experiences, raise concerns, and hear directly what actions are being taken to address recent issues in our village.

Over the summer, Ash experienced a worrying rise in:

  • Theft, shoplifting and vandalism
  • Street drinking and drug dealing
  • Damage and theft from St Nicholas Church
  • Anti‑social behaviour affecting families, businesses and community spaces

These incidents have had a real impact on residents’ quality of life. This meeting is an important opportunity for the community to speak openly about what has been happening, and for Kent Police and DDC to explain what they are doing — and what more can be done — to address this.

Why your voice matters

The more residents who attend, the clearer the picture of what is happening in Ash. Every report, experience and concern helps build the evidence needed for stronger action and better support.

Please come along – Ash Village Hall on Thursday 12 November at 7.30pm

This is your chance to influence how these issues are tackled. Your presence genuinely makes a difference.
