Waste collection problems

Dover District Council are still working with Veolia to fix the problems with the waste collection. They have asked that where collections are running late, as in Ash, could residents please leave their bins out for collection.
As part of the work to fix the problems there is likely to be further round changes. Garden waste collections have been suspended for this week. This will be reviewed at the end of the week to see if any further steps are needed to safeguard core services. At this stage, the message to those residents affected is that they should store their garden waste until their next scheduled collection.
