What3words – download free app

what3words is now used by 80% of the emergency services in the UK.  This system has given every 3m square in the world a unique identifier made of 3 words – making the location of any emergency or incident very easy to describe and share.

Being able to give your precise location in an emergency can save vital time and lives especially if you are in a location that does not have a postcode.  It is used by Kent Police, Kent Fire & Rescue, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the UK Coastguard.

Make sure you are prepared by downloading the free what3words app so you can help 999 know exactly where the emergency is.

For example:///parsnips.brains.slider is the location of the parish defibrillator at the entrance to Ash Village Hall on Queens Road, Ash CT3 2BG.
