Scrap Metal Dealers Information – Dover District Council

Dover District Council has introduced a scheme to assist residents in identifying scrap metal collectors who are licensed to operate across the District.  Licensed collectors will be asked to display a yellow plate detailing some of their licence information on the rear of their vehicle, in addition to displaying their licence at the front of the vehicle.  Unlicensed collectors are committing criminal offences.  If you have concerns over an individual or business operating as an unlicensed collector please contact the Licensing Team who can investigate.

DDC Community Roots Van

The DDC Community Roots Van is coming to Ash in March on the following dates:
2nd (10am to 1pm), 8th & 15th March at Ash Recreation Ground from 10am to 2pm.
The Dover District Council Community Roots Van, is a fully equipped office on wheels, helping bring council services to communities across the Dover District. The van is there to assist with tackling social isolation and supporting communities in becoming more digitally inclusive. They will be providing advice, support (and some fun).
Their theme for March is The Great British Spring Clean.
