Ash Parish Council is delighted to open the new play area to its youngest residents from Saturday 4 July 2020.  Government guidance reminds everyone that it is very important to maintain social distancing and to stay alert to save lives.  

1. Follow the current social distance guidelines when visiting and encourage your children to do the same.
2. If the playground is busy, consider coming back at a later time. Talk to your children about this possibility before visiting.  It is advised that there are only 20 people (including children) in the play area at any one time.
3. Wash your and your children’s  hands before and after visiting. Take hand sanitiser with you and consider taking a bottle of water in case you need to wash your children’s hands. Ensure your children are using hand sanitiser frequently.

Young Women’s Trust supports young women aged 18-30 with free telephone coaching, helping them build strong mental health, set goals and stay motivated. They also offer a free CV feedback service giving personalised, detailed feedback on CVs and job applications.  The service is all run over the phone and email so may be able to support young women who are feeling particularly isolated at the moment.

Kent County Council provides information on planned road closures on their link  roadworks.org where you will be able to view the works and obtain further information.  This link takes you to a map into which you can put an address and then choose the layer which you want to view as their information on road delays as well as other information including planned road closures and works.
