Announcing our Community Awards Winner – Louise Venny
The Kent Association of Local Council (KALC) Community Awards acknowledge and give recognition to a resident of the Parish of Ash who has made a significant contribution to our community. Earlier this year we asked for your nominations.
We are pleased to announce that Louise Venny received the most nominations from residents of the Parish. She has been awarded a certificate to recognise her contribution to the Parish:
“Making a positive difference through her dedication, energy, actions and voice; Ash Wildlife Friendly Village, Advent Windows, church bell ringing, spring bulb planting, litter picking, Speedwatch, charity fundraising, and more!”
Louise attended a Celebration Evening at Shepherd Neame Brewery, where her certificate was presented by the High Sheriff of Kent, Jonathan Neame.
The certificate was also presented to Louise by the Chair of Ash Parish Council at the Annual Parish Meeting held on 29 April.
Congratulations Louise on this well-deserved honour. Thank you for all that you do for the Parish!
