Ash Parish are looking for Community Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the charm
and cleanliness of our village. Your responsibilities will include but are not limitedCommunity Caretaker job advert FINAL to:
• General Maintenance: Ensuring that public areas, including parks, pathways, street
signs, and communal spaces, are well–maintained, clean, and in good order.
• Repairs: Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks to keep village facilities in top
condition.
• Gardening: Taking care of village green spaces, including planting, weeding, and general
upkeep.
• Projects: identifying areas for improvement and investment and assisting with delivery of
special projects.
• Safety: Monitoring and reporting any safety hazards or issues to the Parish Clerk/Council
and/or relevant authorities.
• Community Support: Assisting with village events and activities, ensuring everything
runs smoothly.
Requirements:
• A passion for community and making a positive impact.
• Friendly and approachable with good communication skills.
• Motivated self–starter who is able to work independently.
• Strong organisational and time–management skills.
• A completer/finisher with an eye for detail.
• Basic handyman skills for minor repairs and maintenance.
• Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training where required.
• Clean driving licence and own vehicle.
